Hi! I’m Stephanie Bergman, aka StephanieBamBam, which is a nickname I picked up due to my tendency to walk into things.
My bio is below, but in short, I’m a geek girl who loves sci fi, technology, games, baking, musicals, and my cats. As a result, my blabbering in this blog is a little all over the map.

With over 10 years of industry experience, Stephanie Bergman is an expert in social media, blogging, and marketing online. Stephanie is currently an ongoing consultant for Gerson Lehrman, as well as an Advisor for SocialWise, an online payment provider.
Previously, Stephanie was Vice President of Product Management for Wello Horld, a stealth Web 2.0 startup, and Director of Product Management for MySpace, where she developed and ran Product Management for their Developer (applications) Platform. Stephanie also spent 3 years at AOL as Lead Product Manager for Community Products, and 4 years at Yahoo! as Product Manager for Chat and Messenger. As a producer of Pseudo Programs in the late 90s she created the first television show for female gamers.
Stephanie contributed a chapter to “From Barbie to Mortal Kombat, Gender and Computer Games” (MIT Press), and has spoken on related topics at conferences like Web 2.0, Casual Connect, and BlogHer.
